I/O psychology , what careers are there and what do they do?

I've read all about it online now and i'm interested to go into it but i want to know exactly what the careers are like. I see sometimes its about working for a business to help raise morale and stuff , but no one says how they go about it. i cant really picture how they actually get people to work more efficiently and raise morale so any help ? thanks
