Is suicide a cowardly act or a heroic one? Is it always wrong?

I think it is both cowardly and heroic; heroic, because, as you said, it takes guts to kill oneself. Cowardly because you'd rather kill yourself than face the situation that's making you kill yourself. Sometimes suicide is a reasonable choice (for the terminally ill, for those criminals who are going to get lifetime in jail, etc), but otherwise, I would think it's a pretty dumb thing to do; I mean, you're only given one life, why end it just like that if there's still more to look forward to?? But I agree with you, it's not always wrong, but keep in mind, this fact doesn't make it always right either. Keep in mind, I'm not speaking from a religious point of view. I hope this helps :)
