THIS IS UNFAIR!!! Y'ALL?

He sounds kind of like a jerk to me. It seems to me that you are better off without him. But to add I would say everyone is different in what they like or dislike in a person. But I think he was just using the "doesn't want a women that knows everything" excuse to cut you loose instead of being a real man and being honest about it. There is definitely a man out there that will love and appreciate every aspect about you, even your flaws. No one is perfect, you just have to end up deciding which flaws in your partner you are willing to live with and are reasonable verses the ones that just don't work for you. Four years is a long time, and I am sure this will hurt for a good amount of time. But eventually you will be over it, and you will appreciate the right man that much more when you do. I suggest just doing your best to stay busy, don't have any contact with this jerk and try to do things you enjoy doing. Hang out with your girlfriends, take a cl for fun, get more involved in hobby you always loved but didn't have enough time for before. And before you know it, you will be moving on for something way better. Don't blame yourself for this, no matter what he or anyone else on this site says. It was a lame excuse he gave you! You deserve better than that. Good luck.
