Why cant I play Guitar on tune-o-matics bridges?

I have a laguna le200 and i find it more difficult to play on the TUNE-O-MATIC than a guitar that has a floyd rose. Its like my hand cant reach the strings or something. When i try to stand up its even harder to play!!! A guitar system with a floyd rose sits more flat and I find it more comfortable. I can reach and pick the strings and everything but i dont own a guitar with a floyd rose system : ( Do other guitarists have the same problem or is it my playing style? I tried the floyd rose systems out at my local guitarcenter and my playing was more clean and accurate...thanks
