How do I tell my parents I want to become vegan?
You know I hear a lot of this on here.I'm a vegan mum,my kids eat very little meat, because it grosses them out at times, but if they wanted to be a vegan or vegetarian I would not get angry.I don't understand why parents react that way.I think they think that the kids are going to starve or something, yet they don't realize that it's a very healthy way of living, because you will be eating fruits, veggies, nuts etc.Since when do parents not want their kids to eat there vegetables! You should do your "vegan research" print out some important facts about the health benefits, and bring that to your parents and just begin talking about why you want to be vegan, and make sure you understand all the health issues like B12, because if this is something you truly want to do,it is very important to eat right.Another great thing about being a vegan, is you don't have to diet! you don't have to worry about cutting down on portions, because it is a no to low-fat lifestyle,so you can eat and enjoy it! I wish you the best of luck.
