Is Republican former leader a shining example of what Republicans have become?

Former Leader and now disgraced Felon Tom Delay "The Hammer" is getting 3 yrs in jail yet he doesn't have an ounce of remorse for his crimes. Instead he blames Liberals. Sound familiar? Will he ever be paroled as one must show "remorse" to even get a chance of parole, if he continues to blame others for his crimes, will he have any chance of seeing freedom? Is this what the Republicans look up to, as all I have seen and heard is partisan remarks from leaders on the Right saying that this is somehow an "injustice" and partisan. His trial was by 12 of his peers and has nothing to do with politics, it was felony money laundering.,
