Who would prefer legally replacing representative govt with a true daily direct Democracy in USA?

A daily role for everyday citizens in the running of government is not workable. How would most people find the time to learn what they need to know to address issues and make decisions in such a short time frame? I do believe however that systems need to be put in place to put the brakes on government officials who go astray of the people's will. A system of recall elections, citizen vetoes and other referenda which could be implemented in a timely fashion would do a lot to increase the power of the people over government, and over big corporations, who think they own the government. Also, judges need to be appointed or voted in for short terms. No more judges for life. Judges tend to come from the same cl of people as corporate types, and they do not have the interests of the common people at heart.
